Handover Letter & Platform Overview
Dear Mr. Omerenna,
It has been a privilege to build Paylesa with you. After more than a year of design, engineering and testing, the platform is now live in production and ready for launch. This letter formally hands over the Paylesa platform to Paylesa Digital Market Place, summarises what has been delivered and records the current launch status.
This is the first of three documents in the Paylesa handover pack. PH-02 describes every platform feature in detail, and PH-03 covers the technology, the transfer of ownership and final acceptance. Each document is signed in turn.
Paylesa is a Nigerian e-commerce marketplace with a built-in Pay Less discount game. A customer can buy a product directly at its listed price, or use purchased spins to compete for a larger discount on a chosen product. Paylesa is a direct-purchase platform: each checkout is for one product, with no shopping cart. The platform is built on five principles:
Paylesa has been delivered as one connected platform with eight parts, all working from the same backend:
| Platform part | Who uses it | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Customer Storefront (Web) | Customers | Browse, buy directly, purchase spins, play Pay Less, track orders, returns and support (paylesa.com) |
| Paylesa Mobile App (Android) | Customers & Vendors | The full customer and vendor experience on mobile (com.paylesa.marketplace) |
| Vendor Portal | Vendors | Store setup and KYC, products, order fulfilment, shipping, earnings and payouts |
| Control Centre | Super-admins | Administration of users, vendors, orders, finance, payouts, logistics, support, policies and staff roles |
| Staff Portal | Paylesa staff | Day-to-day operations for staff by role: orders, vendors, support and logistics (portal.paylesa.com) |
| Game Engine (Pay Less) | Customers & Vendors | ₦50 spins, price-band rooms, server-side win recognition and funded discounts; vendors are always paid full price |
| The Algorithm | Paylesa (system) | Funds and releases every discount: spin banks, distribution cycles, target levels and the 50/50 Paylesa–winner split |
| Backend API & Services | All of the above | Business rules, payments, logistics, ledger, notifications and security |
| Item | Status | Detail / next step |
|---|---|---|
| Production platformPlatform | Live | Storefront, API and Control Centre running; test data cleared for launch. |
| Game engine (Pay Less)Gaming | Live | Server-authoritative engine: spins credited once via Paystack, distribution cycles open five price-band rooms, and every spin is stored with proof. The wheel only shows the result the server decided; no simulated or forced wins. |
| The AlgorithmGaming | Live | Recognised winner by highest Win Spin Record; target profit drawn from 12 levels and split 50/50 (Paylesa / winners); a room pays only when funded and claimed atomically; settlement never reduces the vendor’s price. |
| Paystack paymentsPayments | Live | Set the Paystack webhook on the live dashboard. |
| Speedaf logisticsLogistics | Live | None. |
| Logistics on/off controlLogistics | Live | Staff choose which delivery partners vendors can select. |
| AI support assistantCustomer care | Live | Paylesa’s internal AI is the first line in help chat and hands off to live agents. |
| Legal policiesLegal | Published | Final website link update being deployed. |
| Android appMobile | In transfer | Moved to Paylesa’s Google Play account, pending Google review. Closed testing with 12 testers for 14 days before public release. |
| GIG LogisticsLogistics | Pending | GIG to enable the Third Party (API) role on the Paylesa account. |
The handover is completed by three documents, each signed in turn:
“By signing below, both parties confirm that the Paylesa platform described in this document has been delivered and handed over, subject to the pending items listed in Section 4.”

Commerce, Game Engine, The Algorithm, Finance, Operations and Governance
This document describes how each part of Paylesa works, as delivered. All amounts, percentages and time limits are the platform’s current default settings, held centrally on the server.
Customers use the Paylesa mobile app and the web storefront.
Pricing. Every product has a vendor price (what the vendor asks for) and a display price (what customers see, after Paylesa’s 30% markup). Only products priced between ₦50,000 and ₦5,000,000 can be listed.
| Example: direct purchase (Buy Now) | Price | Customer pays |
|---|---|---|
| Vendor price (paid to the vendor after settlement) | ₦70,000 | ₦70,000 |
| Paylesa markup, 30% (checkout profit) | ₦21,000 | ₦21,000 |
| Standard shipping fee | — | ₦2,000 |
| Total | ₦91,000 display | ₦93,000 |
Pay Less lets a customer use spins to compete for a large discount on a product they choose. The engine runs entirely on the server. The wheel in the app only shows a result the server has already decided.
| One ₦50 spin (minimum purchase: 2 spins) | Amount |
|---|---|
| General Spin Bank (funds the discounts) | ₦45 |
| Vendor of the chosen product (spin earnings) | ₦5 |
The Algorithm decides how much discount money each cycle releases, and makes sure every discount is paid from money that actually exists.
| Example: a 70% win on the ₦91,000 product (₦100,000 slot) | Amount |
|---|---|
| Discount won (70% of ₦91,000) | ₦63,700 |
| Customer pays: ₦27,300 product + ₦2,000 shipping | ₦29,300 |
| Vendor receives the full vendor price (from the slot) | ₦70,000 |
| Product Range Extra Profit to Paylesa (slot amount − vendor price) | ₦30,000 |
The vendor’s price is never reduced by a discount. Even on a 100% win, the vendor is paid in full and the customer pays only shipping. If a winner never checks out, the full slot amount goes back to the open slot or, once the cycle has ended, to the General Spin Bank.
“By signing below, both parties confirm that the platform features described in this document, including the customer experience, commerce and vendors, the game engine, the Algorithm, the financial ecosystem, people and operations, and governance, communications and platform control, have been delivered and work as described.”
Yours sincerely,

Architecture, Accounts, Source Code and Completion of the Handover
This final document records how Paylesa is built and run, confirms who owns each account and the source code, and completes the handover. It is signed by both parties in the presence of one witness each.
| Component | What it does | Address |
|---|---|---|
| Paylesa API | Node.js and Express service that runs every business rule and the ledger | api.paylesa.com |
| Game Engine (Pay Less) | Server-authoritative engine inside the API: spins, distribution cycles and the five price-band prize rooms, with every spin stored with proof | Internal |
| The Algorithm | Funds and releases every discount: target profit from 12 levels, the 50/50 Paylesa–winner split and exact settlement | Internal |
| Paylesa Communications | Separate service that sends every email, push, in-app and WhatsApp message | Internal |
| Mobile app | Flutter app for customers and vendors (com.paylesa.marketplace) | Google Play |
| Web storefront | Next.js web app for customers | paylesa.com |
| Control Centre | Super-admin console | control-center.paylesa.com |
| Staff Portal | The same console, built for staff roles | portal.paylesa.com |
| Data | MongoDB Atlas (main database) and Redis 7 (cache, queues, real-time) | Internal |
Integrations: Paystack (payments, transfers and refunds), Speedaf (delivery, live) and GIG Logistics (built in), Firebase (push notifications), Cloudinary (images and media), Brevo (email) and WhatsApp.
All business accounts used by the platform are moved into Paylesa’s ownership, registered to the company email addresses below, so that Paylesa holds full control of its services.
All platform data and credentials:
Mobile app publishing:
The domain name and DNS (paylesa.com) are held in Paylesa’s Namecheap account.
No secret is stored in the source code or in this document. To change a key, update it in Infisical and redeploy; the platform reads it at start-up.
The Technical Lead stays on each account as a developer or administrator to continue technical support. Hosting, servers and day-to-day platform operations continue under a separate hosting and maintenance arrangement, so the live service is not interrupted.
On acceptance of this handover, the Paylesa source code, mobile application, designs, content and published policies are delivered to Paylesa Digital Market Place as a single clean release (version 1.0.0), together with the Android signing keystore and its credentials needed to publish future updates. From that point, Paylesa Digital Market Place owns them.
The source code is held in an encrypted Deliverables Vault on this page. The vault unlocks once this document is signed and opens with a private access key handed over by Profynix’s Technical Lead. It also holds the Android signing keystore and its credentials. Files are decrypted only in the recipient’s browser, each file’s checksum is verified, and every download is logged.
This document, together with PH-01 Overview & Handover Letter and PH-02 Platform Features, forms the complete Paylesa Handover Pack.
“By signing below, Paylesa Digital Market Place accepts the Paylesa platform as delivered and described in PH-01, PH-02 and this document, confirms ownership of the accounts, source code and intellectual property set out above, and agrees that the handover is complete. Any further work will be carried out under a separate arrangement.”
